Reviews
I purchased these, sight unseen, for students for this coming holiday season, but am not impressed with the arrangements at all. While they sound good, they are not well laid out in how they are played. There are several places where fingering is awkward, or unusual hand positioning and clef use makes it harder to play for this level than what is necessary. Rearranging how the different parts are written would greatly improve this in ease of playability. I usually get one easier book of holiday music for students, so they have stuff they can play for fun right away, and then another one that is more complicated, so they have something challenging to work on throughout the holiday season, but I will not be purchasing this particular one again.
